Are the books brand new?

Well… Yes and No. Firstly we do not sell second hand books. The books listed on our website are books mainly in new condition, however, some of the books may also display minor shelf wear as they are remaindered stock.  This explains why our books are that cheap.  Books that are mint are marked “good as gifts” and others are sold in an “as-is” condition. Scroll down to the end of this page to see examples.

 

Are the books authentic?

All our books are 100% authentic.

 

How will I know if my items have been processed/delivered?

Once orders are confirmed, customers will receive an order acknowledgement via email update quoting the order number.

 

A SMS will be sent to recipient to inform the parcel is on its way. If no one is at home, driver will try to contact the recipient if permission is granted to leave the parcel in the riser/door gap/shoes cabinet. To leave the parcel in a safe place, customer is required to provide a 4-digit One-Time Password to driver.

 

Can I cancel/change an order after I have confirmed it?

No cancellation or change in order allowed once payment is made. Please review your order prior to confirmation and payment.

 

Can I return the books?

We do not accept returns! Please check your order prior to making payment.

 

How long will it take to receive my order ?

In total, processing takes about 5 working days: 3 days to pick and pack and 2 working days for delivery.  However, during our Sale & Singapore Peak Shopping Seasons, please expect a delay of up to 3 days. For more shipping information, please check this page.

 

Do you ship books outside of Singapore?

No, we are currently only accepting orders from Singapore.

 

Can I self -collect my order?

Yes, but you will have to make an appointment. Please kindly email sgbookmarket@gmail.com for assistance.

 

What types of payments are accepted?

We accept Credit and Debit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely and your credit card information is never stored.

Do you charge Goods and Services Tax (GST)?

Yes, we charge 9% GST for all transactions.


Can I use multiple discount codes in one order?

No. You can only use one discount code per order.

 

I forgot to enter a discount code during checkout. Can I get a refund?

We won’t be able to refund any payment. Please kindly check your order before placing it. 

 

How do I accumulate points?

Sign up for an account to earn points. Click on the User icon to start and follow through till your account is set up.

How do I redeem my points?

Click on the "gift" icon at the bottom right hand side of the page. Choose the number of points to redeem. A code will be generated upon successful redemption.

How do I use a promo code?

Only one promo code can be used at each time. This promo code can be a storewide discount promo code or a promo code you have used points to redeem. Simply enter this code into the "Add a discount code or a gift code" field on the checkout page. 

What is your privacy policy ?

Your information is solely used to process your order and your information will be passed on to third-party delivery service providers to deliver your order. Payments are processed securely. You will never be contacted with promotions or announcements unless you opt-in to email updates. More info on privacy policy page.

 

I’d like to purchase in bulk – is this possible?
